There is a mob in Queensland - Technophobia - they repair them - costs about $500 or so, with 1 year warrantee.
Other than that - wreckers.

Sorry man, i would of sold the ecu to you but i donno the differences between the auto and manual ecu.
perhaps if you go to your mitsu, and say that you can "only" source a Manual TE v6 Manual ECU, ask would that still work?
if it does, then i can offload this heavy piece of hardware :: its sitting in my office draw.. dont ask me why? so its out of the dust, out of the sun, in a 16degree temp controlled office

Hang on, isnt the auto controlled by the TCU which is a separate unit? Therefore meaning that all you'd need to do is replace the ECU and plug in the current TCU?
